PHYSICS

1. Motion:

1. Measurement of length.
2. Motion is a change in position with time.
3. Observationof different types of moving objects on land
4. Observation of different types of moving objects on in air, water and space.
5. Identification anddiscrimination of various types of motion.
6. Demonstrating objects having more than onetype of movement (screw motion, bicycle wheel, fan, top etc.)
7. Observing the periodicmotion of the hands of a clock/watch, the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth.

2. Light:

1. Classification of various materials in terms of transparent, translucent and opaque.
2. A shadow is formed only when there is a source of light and an opaque material obstructs the source.
3. A shadow is black irrespective of the colour of the object.
4. Reflecting surfaces, images are different from shadows.
